AI-900 vs AWS AI Practitioner
Both are beginner AI certifications. The better first cert is usually the one aligned to your cloud platform and your near-term job target.

If your environment is Microsoft/Azure, start with AI-901 (or the AI-900 practice redirect page that points to the same active lane). If your environment is AWS, start with AWS AI Practitioner.
For beginner AI certs, platform fit usually matters more than theoretical "difficulty" rankings.
Use AI-901 when you are building toward Azure AI or Microsoft-heavy enterprise environments. You can then expand through the Microsoft practice hub and the AI Career Hub.
Use AWS AI Practitioner when your team stack and future workloads are AWS-first. Then continue through the AWS practice hub.
For career changers, a clear first cert is useful only if it is tied to a realistic project lane. Pick one platform, one cert, and one small project set. Then reassess before adding a second provider track.

Use one lane, one next cert, and one practice page at a time. That is usually faster than trying to collect every AI cert at once.
