Departmental Considerations is 15% of the CRCST blueprint. Know the environment, workflow, worker-safety, documentation and quality systems that keep SPD controlled. These questions reward standards/IFU-based decisions, immediate correction of deviations and traceable documentation.

Preparation and Packaging is 21% of the CRCST blueprint. This is one of the three heaviest domains. A clean item is not ready until it is inspected, functional, correctly identified, protected, assembled, packaged, monitored and labeled in a validated configuration.

Sterilization Process is 21% of the CRCST blueprint. This is one of the three heaviest domains. Match the device to a validated method/cycle, configure the load correctly, interpret all monitoring, protect the load after processing and maintain traceability for failures/recalls.

Sterile Storage, Transport and Inventory Management is 9% of the CRCST blueprint. Protect sterile barriers after processing and keep inventory controlled. Know event-related sterility, FIFO, storage clearances, distribution systems, item identification and recall/loaner tracking.

Patient Care Equipment and Distribution is 5% of the CRCST blueprint. Clean patient-care equipment must also be electrically safe, PM-current, functional, correctly tracked, charged/stored and delivered through a clean workflow.
