Core Concepts
- A user needs license/feature eligibility before permissions can matter.
- Object permissions determine create/read/edit/delete capability; field permissions determine visibility/editability of fields.
- Record access starts with OWD and can be opened by hierarchy, sharing rules, teams, territories, or manual sharing.
