AZ-305 Practice Test Support

Practice helps AZ-305 candidates when it sharpens design reasoning. Focus on why one Azure architecture satisfies the scenario better than the alternatives.

Practice Design Decisions

Use practice questions to identify the requirement that controls the design. Is the issue identity governance, data durability, latency, recovery time, cost, compliance, hybrid routing, or monitoring? AZ-305 answers often require selecting the most appropriate architecture pattern, not simply recognizing a service name.

Review by Official Skills Area

Group missed questions under Microsoft’s four skills areas: identity, governance, and monitoring; data storage; business continuity; and infrastructure. If most misses fall under infrastructure, compare network, compute, application architecture, and migration choices. If data storage is weak, revisit Azure SQL, Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, integration, performance, and cost tradeoffs.

Explain the Distractors

For every missed question, explain why the rejected designs fail. A public endpoint might work technically but violate private access requirements. Backup might protect data but not meet failover objectives. A VM design might preserve control but increase operational burden compared with App Service, Functions, Container Apps, or AKS.

Use Sources for Architecture Detail

Use the Microsoft certification page and AZ-305 study guide for scope. Use Azure Architecture Center, Azure Well-Architected Framework, and service documentation for design details. Keep source reading tied to the specific design decision that caused the miss.

Track Weak Concepts Without Unsupported Claims

Keep your own weak-area notes instead of relying on unsupported coverage claims. Useful categories include identity boundaries, governance hierarchy, data platform selection, private connectivity, load balancing, recovery objectives, monitoring design, migration strategy, and compute platform selection.
